National Acrobatic Gymnastics is a selection-based class for gymnasts interested in competing.

Selection is based on 'talent sporting' from higher level coaches observing classes on the gym floor. Training hours depend on which of the two streams you are invited to: two days a week three hours a session for Development ACRO and four training sessions a week for our National ACRO athletes in their assigned groupings.

Gymnasts of all different ages and heights work together in teams of two, three or four to perform 'Balance' and 'Dynamic' routines to music. Both routines show tumbling, flexibility, strength, artistry and group work. The Balance routine consists of a partner or partners holding each other on hands, feet or shoulders and a dynamic routine focuses on throws and catches.
